The Wiz Live is now playing on NBC tonight. Stephanie Mills graced us with an opening song by warning Dorothy, played by Shanice Williams, to get inside from the storm. The traditional play is filled with magic, technology , and great music. So far it is living up to expectations. Amber Riley , who plays the Good Witch of the North, welcomed us to OZ. Her entrance was bold and full of personality. Riley’s stage presence with the muchkins and Dorothy gives us the upbeat feel of OZ. The fans continue to watch and wait in suspense for the performances of Neo, Queen Latifah, Mary J Blige, Common, and many more. Let’s continue to watch.
